Our Services

At Core Physiotherapy Clinic, every treatment plan is tailored specifically to you.

We understand that each patient’s body, lifestyle, and goals are unique, so we combine appropriate techniques to address your individual needs.

Physiotherapists Monique and Caitlyn, and Osteopath Izaac, all offer dry needling, as well as hands on therapies, and exercise advice.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a treatment technique used to relieve muscle pain and improve movement. It involves inserting very fine, sterile needles into tight muscle bands or trigger points to help release tension, reduce pain, and restore normal muscle function.

By targeting areas of muscle tightness and irritation, dry needling can help decrease inflammation, improve blood flow, and encourage the body’s natural healing response. Many patients experience reduced pain, improved flexibility, and faster recovery from muscle injuries or ongoing muscular tension.

Dry needling is commonly used for conditions such as neck and back pain, sports injuries, headaches related to muscle tension, and chronic muscle tightness.

Hands-On Approach

Hands-on therapy is a key part of our treatment approach, combining physiotherapy and osteopathic techniques to help reduce pain, restore movement, and support recovery.

Using manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, therapeutic ultrasound, stretching, and muscle release, our practitioners work directly with your body to improve mobility and relieve tension.

This approach allows us to identify and treat the underlying causes of pain, not just the symptoms. By combining hands-on treatment with personalised exercise programs and movement advice, we help you recover faster and maintain long-term health and function.

Women's Health

Both Monique and Caitlyn have a strong focus on Women's Health Physiotherapy, and can provide individualised assessment and treatment to support pelvic health, core strength, and overall wellbeing.

Women’s health physiotherapy focuses on conditions that affect women throughout different stages of life, including pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and menopause.

A key area of treatment is the pelvic floor, a group of muscles that support the bladder, bowel, and uterus. Weakness or dysfunction in these muscles can lead to symptoms such as bladder leakage, pelvic pain, or reduced core stability. Through targeted assessment and guided exercises, physiotherapy can help strengthen the pelvic floor, improve control, and restore confidence in everyday activities.

Women’s health physiotherapy may help with pregnancy-related pain, postnatal recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction, abdominal muscle separation, incontinence, prolapse, menopause, and return to exercise after childbirth.

Pilates

Pilates is highly beneficial for improving core strength, posture, balance, and flexibility, while also helping to prevent injury and support recovery. It is particularly effective for managing back and neck pain, enhancing body awareness, and building long-term strength in a safe and controlled way.
